Chunhui and Luis
Venue: Château Giscours (http://chateau-giscours.com/en/home/)
Giscours is just 20 minutes from Bordeaux along the legendary “Route des Châteaux” in the Medoc.
Chunhui and Luis had their wedding ceremony and drinks reception in the Farm Suzanne courtyard with a lovely floral arch as the backdrop. As the chateau is a working vineyard it also offers wine tours and tastings.
Wedding Planner: Julie Bonenfant (nocesdumonde.com@gmail.com) Julie has been planning weddings since 2006 when she and Fred created Noces du Monde, one of the first wedding planning agencies in France. Julie sent out a full and detailed programme of the day to me and so I knew exactly what was expected of me.
Photographer: Charles Magrin (charlesmagrinphotographer@gmail.com) Charles captured some stunning and very creative photos of Chinhui and Luis’ wedding. He says “ Every wedding or couple session is different and I love the challenge of capturing souvenirs that will last and that you’ll be able to pass to your children to tell them how beautiful this day has been!”
Music: Provided by EmYo Duo (https://www.facebook.com/emyoduo/~ )EmYo have been a duo since 2015. Emeline’s voice accompanied by Yori’s guitar playing created a wonderful backdrop before, during and after the wedding ceremony. Then they serenaded the guests during the drinks reception, which was subtle and soothing as people chatted and celebrated.
Makeup and Hair: Sophie Fu, Chunhui’s friend
Cake: Pâtisserie Pierre Mathieu – https://www.pmpatissierbordelais.fr/
