Venue: Château du Doux [https://www.chateaududoux.com/] The chateau was built in the early 1900’s and has magnificent views over the Dordogne valley. It’s a stunning location and venue that’s run by mum and dad, Karen and Clive, along with Ross and Abbie. There is accommodation in the chateau and self-catering apartments for 70 people and a half-sized Olympic swimming pool.
Wedding Planner: Abbie (yes I know it’s confusing) acts as your wedding planner and is super organised, incredibly friendly and very helpful. No detail is overlooked and she, along with the rest of the family, will go that extra mile to make sure your wedding is absolutely perfect.
Photographer: Mark from Valentina Weddings [https://www.valentinaweddings.co.uk/] took the photos you see here. He’s based in the UK. He has a documentary style that’s all about capturing the moments as they happen in a natural and emotive way. His style is relaxed and informal, capturing you and your guests having fun and enjoying the day.
Music: Charlie and Jodie from Charlie T Smith –[https://charlietyrrellsmith.com/weddings/] provided the music, which was just lovely. They split their time between Bristol and Bordeaux. Charlie and Jodie are both accomplished musicians but then come together to create a wonderful sound.
Makeup: Lynzi from Skin 23 [https://www.skin23france.com/] is a makeup artist and skin specialist. She has a holistic approach to makeup, beauty and wellness. At Skin 23 their result-based services actively combine sustainability, science and nature
Hair: A friend as well as Annette Carr [https://www.englishhairdresserinfrance.com/] Annette is the “English Hairdresser France”. She’s a registered wedding hair stylist with over 25 years of experience and offers a fully-tailored wedding service for brides and wedding parties.
Cake: Chloebelle’s Cakes and Bistro – are based in the north of the Haute-Vienne. Chloébelle’s specialises in creating beautiful bespoke wedding cakes. They’ve been creating cakes since 2011 and believe taste is as important as the look. They use their knowledge and experience to make sure flavours can be adapted to suit most dietary requirements to ensure all your guests can enjoy your cake.
